During this time, Brantford, ON is on lockdown again sadly. But I can assure you I am using every single precaution from masks to sanitized hands and tools. Your safety is my #1 priority. Once this Pandemic is out of our midst, I will still continue to provide a safe, sanitized space for you to relax and enjoy!
I would like to make special mention of my new friend, who I was blessed to have been contacted by. His name is Ray LaPointe and he is an amazing photographer. Credit for the photos of me and my spouse, Kaitlin at Tiffany Falls and recently Macy, were all Ray. If you want a team that you can have faith in....me with making you look beautiful, and Ray capturing you in a way that will make your pictures shine....let me know. I was so impressed upon meeting Ray (these are cautious times) and being calmed by his chill demeanor, sense of humor and how he puts clients at ease, making them laugh while being able to get the PERFECT shot. I am a lucky lady to have this guy helping me look good! So....look him up on his FB at Ray NbOptics. I'm such a fan of what he produces and he's nice to boot!

You will be the first to hear about my new blog posts and monthly giveaways! Plus I'm kinda funny once in a while ....:)
Before I started on this journey to be my own boss, and do something that would be rewarding and fulfilling, I did wear many hats....none of them relating to beauty.
I have been a bartender, a waitress, a sales person, I read gas meters, drove a coffee truck and pretty much had my hands in a little bit of everything. The hours weren't the greatest, and through many of these jobs I was a single Mom and busy. Some of them were night shift jobs as well, which made it hard as a Mom. And I wasn't always making the money and doing what I loved, even though I am a people person, which is why I am good at hospitality jobs. But I am also a 52 year old woman....so I needed to change it up.
So....this is where I made an educated decision to do something for myself. And beauty and skincare was always something I was passionate about and good at, so why not make a career out of it? That's where QC Makeup Academy came in! I could do my self-paced studies around my work!
Then COVID hit. Well, this meant a lay off at work, and more time to devote to my studies! i had some great volunteers and graduated Master Makeup Artistry with an A average, And, while I was taking this course, I added The Skincare Consultant course as well and graduated this as well!
Present day, I have this website, have worked with a Photographer, Ray LaPointe and have had paid work!
I'm pretty proud of where I came from and what I have achieved!!! And I am looking forward to serving many of you as the Covid situation gets under control! Brides, Glamour Shots and Boudoir shots, and whatever your needs may be, I am the girl for you! I'm passionate about the process of beauty! You, but better!
